Upon arriving at Toro Verde adventure park, located in the Municipality of Orocovis, Puerto Rico, my sixth sense told me that the day would be spectacular. Walking towards the registration area, I felt the collective energy and excitement of the adventurers with the same mission of feeling the wind on their faces once they take off the ground. I wanted to feel the sensation of flight that I have envied whenever I have seen pigeons flying.

The attraction named Zipline Tour, which involves eight zip lines that run down the mountains, allowed me take time to appreciate the beautiful scenery. The first zip line served as practice. Following the guide's instructions in the station prevented technical problems and let me focus on Orocovis mountain view. As the wind caressed my face in the heights, it brought out a smile from ear to ear. My eyes appreciated the beauty of flora covering the wrinkled terrain like a blanket. My soul relaxed and surrendered to the experience. Each zip line level I descended strengthened my connection with nature. Every step I took towards the end of the tour brought me closer to a sense of total liberation.

Most memorable were the personal triumphs of each person who arrived at the finish line in each zip line station. I was fortunate to hear what everyone from my group had to face to reach the end.

Waiting for the shuttle bus to pick me up after having accomplished my goal provided enough time to realize I was oblivious to my fear of heights. The sensational landscape served as a great distraction. The sense of freedom was the best reward. My sixth sense had been right as the experience during that day was in fact spectacular.

The staff at Toro Verde provided exceptional service. Besides excellent instructions, a guide awaited to ensure my safe stop at the end of the line at each station. The guides patiently answered every question before and during my trip. I will be forever grateful for such an unforgettable adventure.
