This natural reserve is near the southeastern coast of Puerto Rico and comprises land located in the Municipalities of Humacao and Naguabo. The Puerto Rico Natural and Environmental Resources Department administers the natural reserve. However, nonprofit, community-based micro-enterprises provide recreational services in this nature reserve, including lagoons.

Hiking and Water Sports Attractions:

Visitors may hike the nature reserve's trails. They may also rent paddleboats, paddleboards or kayaks at Watersports and Ecotours' information center.
