This natural reserve is near the southeastern coast of Puerto Rico, and comprises land located in the Municipalities of Humacao and Naguabo. The Puerto Rico Natural and Environmental Resources Department administers the natural reserve. However, community-based micro-enterprises provide services to the nature reserve’s visitors.

Hours of Operation:

Tuesday- Friday: 7:30 am-4:00 pm

Saturday- Sunday 9:00 am- 4:00 pm

Hiking and Water Sports Attractions:

Visitors may rent paddleboats, paddleboards, or kayaks at Watersports and Ecotours' information center. For information about guided tours or rental prices, you may contact Watersports and Ecotours at 787-397-1900.

Time Periods for Water Sports Rentals:

Wednesday - Friday: 9:00 am- 2:30 pm

Saturday - Sunday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Biking Attractions:

For bike rentals or guided biking tours, you may contact Morrillo Cycle at 787-914-8055 0r 787-559-7280. A minimum of 15 persons and prior reservation are required for the guided biking tour.

Morrillo Cycle's Regular Hours of Operation:

Wednesday- Sunday: 9:00 am- 3:30 pm

The guided biking tour may be available on Monday or Tuesday, subject to prior reservation.
