COPI stands for Corporación Piñones Se Integra, a nonprofit organization that educates about Puerto Rico’s African cultural heritage, Loíza's culture and Torrecilla Lagoon's environment and fosters community economic development. COPI manages the Piñones Cultural and Ecotouristic Center located near Torrecilla Lagoon, Loíza.

By means of guided kayaking tours, visitors learn about these culture topics and the Torrecilla Lagoon's ecosystem. Guided kayaking tours require prior reservation.

Visitors have the option of renting kayaks and bikes. You may read an ecotreasures® magazine article, under the "eco" section, about a guided kayaking tour experience in Torrecilla Lagoon, among other bodies of water.

COPI also gives bomba lessons.
